The office counts with a sofa-bed and can be turned into a third bedroom. Ultra fast (10Gbit/s) and reliable internet, cable TV with international channels and a big fully equipped kitchen should make you feel at home.

 

The tram stop is across the street from the building's back entrance, and the main train station is only 2 stops away (or a 15 minute walk). The stairs to the Aare river are just by the Lorraine bridge across the street from the front entrance. Supermarket, restaurants, and gym are within a 5-min walking distance (same street).

From the main train station, bus 20 direction Wankdorf will take you in under 5 minutes to the Gewerbeschule bus stop, just 25m from the back entrance of the building. A 15 minute walk will take you to the old town or to the University of Bern, while a 15 minute bus ride will take you to Inselspital.

The main entrance is beween a portuguese delicatessen and wine shop and a neighbourhood restaurant. Across the street you shall find the Lorraine bridge, which has a nice view to the mountains and old town, and stairways to the Aare and to the Botanic Garden. The back entrance is 75m away from a Migros grocery store.

You can choose to have someone present for your check-in or choose the self-check-in option (key pick up from a key safe box), which allows for more flexibility upon arrival. 

​

Upon entering the apartment, you will find the beds made with freshly pressed linen, clean towels, coffee capsules, tea, toiletries, toilet paper and cleaning products. This way, you do not have to worry if you arrive late or forgot something. Our goal is to make you feel at home!

​

We unfortunately do not have any parking space. The street and surrounding streets have many blue zone parking spots which can be a good option for short-term stays.

​

The private laundry room is in the basement and counts with a washer, a dryer, a big ironing table and a semi-professional iron. It is also a good place to keep your luggage if you are staying with us for a prolonged period of time. 

​
